Abstract

Bisnis pariwisata tidak sekadar aktivitas ekonomi yang berorientasi pada keuntungan, tetapi juga ruang praksis yang sarat nilai, makna, dan tanggung jawab moral. Dalam perspektif filsafat, pariwisata dapat dibaca melalui lensa etika, estetika, ontologi, hingga filsafat sosial. Dari sisi etika, pelaku usaha dituntut mempertimbangkan keberlanjutan lingkungan, keadilan bagi masyarakat lokal, serta integritas dalam pelayanan. Secara ontologis, pariwisata merefleksikan kebutuhan eksistensial manusia untuk mencari pengalaman, identitas, dan makna hidup melalui perjalanan. Sementara itu, estetika berperan dalam membentuk pengalaman keindahan yang dikemas sebagai produk wisata. Filsafat sosial menyoroti relasi kuasa, komodifikasi budaya, dan dampak globalisasi terhadap komunitas destinasi. Dengan demikian, bisnis pariwisata idealnya tidak hanya mengejar profit, tetapi juga membangun harmoni antara manusia, alam, dan budaya secara berkelanjutan dan reflektif.
